A WORKSHOP FOR EVERYONE with Fanclub

A dancer’s point of view. In connection with our upcoming double bill DEATH we invite you to a workshop where you on your own body, will get a chance to experience how the two performances by the choreographers Kim Hiorthøy (NO/SE) and Itamar Serussi (IL/NL) have been developed.

We in Fanclub want to share our experience from the two artistic processes with you, and together we will try simple movement improvisation as well as text- and voice exercises. By the end of the workshop we will open up to a dialogue with space for reflections and questions about the work.

The workshop is for EVERYONE interested and requires NO previous experience with dance. We hope to see some new faces there. Welcome!

DEATHcrew – Gunnvá Nolsøe

Gunnvá NolsøeGunnvá is our new PR & communication co-worker and we are really happy to have her on board, helping our busy minds and soar computer fingers now that the premiere of DEATH is getting closer. It’s exiting to see how her background within the fields of visual art and music can enrich Fanclub’s work.

Gunnvá also work with Click Festival, as well as Dark Matters that actually have their first Naesus event on Thursday. We recommend you to check them out, both super cool arrangements.

DEATHcrew – Richard van Kruysdijk

DEATH - Itamar, Richard & NathalieRichard is the composer for Itamar Serussi’s part of the double bill DEATH, and we’ve just had the pleasure to have him in town for a week, adding an extra edge to our rehearsals.

Richard is based in the Netherlands where he works as a composer, dj and producer. He’s been creating music for dance since 2010, and have developed a close and intuitive collaboration with Itamar where music and movement grow side by side in the studio – Richard’s adventourus electronica entwining perfectly with Itamars curious choreography.
