DEATHcrew – Filip Vilhelmsson

filip rockstarFilip is our technician and he is coming with us on tour. Feeling really privileged ’cause Filip is the coolest, most professional guy ever – keeping us on track, setting our light and fixing our sound without any worries in the world. He normally works a lot at Dansstationen in Malmö, but we were lucky enough to be able to borrow him for DEATH (thank you Madeleine!). Looking forward to explore the Nordic countries in his company. Filip is also a rock star. Check out his band Sinthia Doll playing in Copenhagen on Friday.

Feeling proud and excited to be on tour – next stop Stockholm 7-8 May. See you there!

To all of you who were there, in body and in spirit – thanks for an amazing premiere of DEATH!

During the past two years we’ve lived with the vision of the double bill DEATH – writing the applications, inviting the choreographers, gathering our crew, discussing and reflecting on life, death and everything in between. We look back with warmth in our hearts and forward with light in our eyes. Now it’s now and we’re happy and proud to be able to present to you two flavors of DEATH – Hi Scores by Kim Hiorthøy and KLARA by Itamar Serussi!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Dansstationen(!), Hanne Svejstrup, Bush Hartshorn, Jens Christian Jensen (JC), Susanne Pørksen, Johannes Hornberger (Johnny), Kamma Siegumfeldt, Sofie Mønster, Danjel Andersson, Jesper de Neergaard, Gunnar Gunnsteinsson, Inge Tarpgaard, Ida-Elisabeth Larsen, Lene Bang, Jan Høgh Stricker, Kristoffer M. Extra events in connection to the Nordic tour

Collecting thoughts on Collectivity – Nordic versions

Fanclub has received funding from the Nordic Culture Fund to support a Nordic tour in May/July 2014. This has given us a great opportunity to explore the diverse artistic communities of the North, and to share information and experience. We have invited Ida-Elisabeth Larsen to join us on the tour to arrange and moderate a series of audience talks and interviews with people connected to the local art-communities in every city we visit. Based on these events Ida-Elisabeth will produce a series of smaller articles that will be published and shared through our own, as well as the different venues’ webpage’s and social networks.

Ida-Elisabeth Larsen is a choreographer, performing artist and dramaturge educated from SEAD in Salzburg, with a BA in philosophy and performance design from Roskilde University. She is based in Copenhagen, where she is part of the artist collective RISK as well as the duo two-women-machine-show. Ida-Elisabeth is a sharp and reflective artist that continuously researches contemporary artistic constellations and collective work within the field of dance and choreography.

We are thrilled to have Ida-Elisabeth lead these extra events on our tour and we look forward to getting started. Hope to see you out there during the Nordic tour! ♥ Fanclub
